Stealing From God

Lesson 1

Frank Turek, author of the book and study course, ‘Stealing From God.’ is an American Christian Apologist, author, public speaker, and founder and president of the Christian Ministry CrossExamined.org.

Atheists state that ultimately nothing matters, and use arguments from science, reason, morality and evil to support their position. Turek’s position is that Atheist are actually stealing from God to provide evidence for their assertions.

Christian Apologist, John Lipton, once said that the 'New Atheists' often put up a “Straw-God” Argument…Fighting a God structured from their own beliefs rather than the God of the Bible.

Lesson 2

Week 2 - CRIMES

Stealing from God, Lesson Two, opened with a review of the acrostic CRIMES, which Turek uses to highlight the intellectual CRIMES atheists are making when denying God.

Each letter in CRIMES is representative of “one or more aspects of reality that wouldn’t exist if atheism were true.”

Lesson 3

Week 3 - Causality

Causality is the relationship between cause and effect. It is the principle that all things that occur have a cause. Whatever has happened was caused to happen by something else. Things cannot occur without a reason.

Lesson 4

Week 4 - Reason

“If the laws of logic are grounded in the nature of the theistic God, then anytime atheists offer an argument against God or for atheism, they are actually presupposing God exists. By using reason, atheists are ’Stealing From God’ to argue against Him.” — Frank Turek

Lesson 5

Week 5 – Information

There is no war between science and religion, the conflict occurs between between science and atheism. Atheists must steal from the very Being who makes reason and science possible in the first place.
